In-store Demonstrations

In-store sampling has a marked effect on product sales, and what better way to introduce consumers to the rich and diverse species of seafood indigenous to our island than to let them taste it for themselves in their local supermarket.
Seafood Marketing runs seafood promotions throughout Northern Ireland and the six border counties of the Republic of Ireland (Louth, Monaghan, Sligo, Cavan, Leitrim and Donegal) with the aim of boosting seafood sales within the retail environment. Whether you are a supermarket chain or an independent store we can tailor our support to suit you. They can be large or small promotions that run over one or more days and integrate a range of promotional tools. Support we offer can range from in-store cookery demonstrations and sampling to point-of-sale material and PR.

A demonstration kitchen is constructed in a supermarket and a chef prepares and cooks a selection of delicious seafood recipes which customers are free to sample. This is supported by helpful tips and advice from our demonstrators and a range of mouth-watering recipe ideas for customers to take home and try out.
