Browns Restaurant, located just outside Derry City Centre, is one of the city's few independent restaurants, and falls nicely into the fine-dining sector.

Browns innovates with its menus as well as its design with both dinner, lunch and early evening menu changing every six weeks.

The menus host a number of seafood dishes including Creamy Seafood Risotto with a Soft Tomato Sauce and Chilli Oil, "Tournedos" of Monkfish with a Catalan Sauce, Baked Whole Dover Sole with Lemon Butter and a Fresh Herb Salsa and Tartar Crusted Fillet of Salmon with Roast Root Vegetables and a Tarragon Cream.

The owners, brother and sister Ivan and Elma Taylor, along with head chef Frank Kivlehan believe that altering the menus and décor to surprise the customer and maintain their profile has been crucial to their success.
