The Stone Boat Restaurant is situated at the food of the Mournes & the mouth of Newcastle Harbour.
It has a relaxed atmosphere with flickering candles, dimmed lights, nets and creels hanging from the ceiling. There are local murals and paintings of the old Stone Boats on the walls, ropes and anchors are placed in every crack and crevice of the restaurant and the smell of cooking fish fills the non-smoking restaurant.
The split seating and large windows gives the customer panoramic views of Dundrum Bay and if you want a better look you can just step out onto the deck.
The menu offers a selection of 80% fresh fish and shellfish. Sunday Lunch 3 courses for £10.50.
