Seafish - Education Website

The Seafish Education website was created by Seafish in order to provide a variety of education resources suitable for teachers and pupils.  The site is intended to help students enjoy learning about the many varieties of seafood available, the ways in which it is processed and the wide range of uses seafood can have within domestic and commercial cookery.

BIM, Irish Sea Fisheries Board - Education/Training

The education and training section of the BIM website provides interesting information on the seafood industry and its environs for students and teachers.  In addition to careers information and a species guide the site contains a classroom resource pack called The School of Fish covering all aspects from the sea to cooking fish.

Northern Ireland School's Catering Authority - NISCA

The Northern Ireland Caterers Association was founded in 2002 in order to promote consistent standards of professionalism at all levels of School Catering. Since then it has worked very successfully in partnership with other statutory and non-statutory bodies to develop School Catering to meet the ever changing and challenging demands. The web-site www.nisca.info will also provide a forum for discussion on matters relating to School Catering in Northern Ireland.
