Special Needs

Special Needs Schools run to the same format to that of the Primary demonstration, allowing the full kitchen unit to be set up at the front of an assembly hall or gym.

This demonstration will cater for a large number of pupils with our audio-visual equipment enabling each and every member of the audience to watch the chefs activities at the front.

The success of these demonstrations rests in the ability to participate. A “Ready Steady Cook” permits a small number of students to actively be involved in the cooking of a simple seafood dish.

The pupils are then given a small sample of each of the dishes cooked, so they can make an informed decision themselves.

As with all demonstrations, every student present will receive a small gift pack with recipe cards and information. Teachers will also receive a teacher's pack with recipe leaflets alongside a selection of posters.

This informal event incorporates the healthy concept and gives the children an alternative venture. The event focuses around the health benefits associated with fish and our display tank provided integrates the different species of fish indigenous to our island.
