run business established in 1979. The company specialises in shellfish
production, having mussel sites in Carlingford Lough and Belfast Lough.
The mussels are grown bottom culture and are of high quality both
in appearance and meat content. The company also has an oyster bed
in Carlingford Lough for cultivation of (Crassostrea gigas) oysters.
The modern and fully approved purification factory with its HACCP
control ensures that all products leaving the premises are of the
highest quality for markets in U.K. and Europe.
It is the policy of Henning Bros. Fishing Company Ltd. to produce
only safe and legal products and to meet customer requirements and
expectations.
This will be achieved through the implementation of a documented
technical management system based on the requirements of the latest
issue of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Technical Standard
and Protocol for companies supplying retailer branded food products.
