Navital is an international
shellfish farming and processing company and was set up in Northern
Ireland in 1998 by its promoters for the purpose of implementing a
programme of innovation in shellfish farming, holding and purification
technologies. In 2000 Navital successfully established a live Nephrops
holding and export programme for local trawlers. Recently, the company
has introduced fully submerged and high capacity farming and harvesting
systems for suspended mussel cultivation.
