Fish has successfully accumulated an ocean of experience in the sale
of its seafood products, sometimes navigating in quiet waters and
sometimes in stormy weather, but always traveling the Irish Sea to
provide the best Mother Nature can offer.
Rooney Fish has built a reputation for listening to customers needs
and as a result has invested in new technology, extending their
modern processing and office facilities and implementing the highest
hygiene standards. The modern and fully EC approved factory has
well equipped facilities, nitrogen freezing and 5000 square metres
of cold storage capacity so large stocks can be held enabling a
rapid response to customers’ needs.
Located at the harbour in Kilkeel, Rooney Fish is able to purchase
the freshest product from local market where it selects the best
species of seafood according to the needs of each particular market,
thus satisfying the requirements of the most demanding consumers
with products in excellent condition. In order to achieve this objective,
Rooney Fish takes the freshest prawns, king scallops and white fish
straight from the fishing vessels, carefully prepares the quality
seafood to the strictest quality controls meeting all EC standards
and captures the delicious seafood flavour by fast nitrogen freezing
at –135oC. It is then served in supermarkets and restaurants
throughout Europe for the freshest taste of the sea and probably
the best seafood products in the world.

All packed in 3kg polystyrene boxes, finger laid and iced. King
Scallops: Packed in 6 x 2 plastic sealed tubs in outer polystyrene.
Hake, Plaice, Brill, Cod etc. can pack these to customer specification
and quantities are available to meet customer requirements. |

x 1kg, 12 x 800g, 1 x 4 kilo, 4 x 2kilo, 18 x 400g, 18 x 500g

x 1kg bag, 7 x 2kg bag. Scampi tails: Available in pack sizes
